Pending

(1 Jul 2009) - The dial plan changeover is in progress. Testing of various changes to occur in the near future. (I think we may run up against a logic issue.) Re-install of Openfire in progress (I want to take better notes this time.) Yell if you want/need an account on anything.

On the 'To Do' List

(27 Jun 2009) - It was recently announced that there's a Red5 plugin for Openfire that allows for video calls via Asterisk. We'll be tweaking the box over the next few days to get Openfire and Red5 installed (the way they once were) so that they new plugin can be played with.

Internal changes

(27 Jun 2009) - For those in the VPN, I've mod'ed the slugs to allow for direct connectivity to this server and other internal systems. Feel free to add/edit/experiment. The nice thing about this wiki is that changes can be rolled back. However, if you're changing someone else's code/documentation, please ask them first.

If you want a feature/program added, please ask. If you need something processor intensive, please schedule it as there are a number of latency sensitive services here. In any case, enjoy!

Also added: an internal IRC server. Point your IRC client at 192.168.2.175.

Camera available

(24 Jun 2009) - I now have a 12 mega-pixel camera that's available for use. It also does YouTube-quality videos with sound.

Notes about content

(24 May 2009) - Just a disclaimer: Please note that I've been at this for a very long time, some of the content is quite old and it's worthwhile to check the date on the post (for most, this is at the start of the article). The earliest entries in the wiki are listed as being from late Summer 2004. Some of the info dated 15 Sep 2004 is actually older but that is the date that I converted to using MediaWiki.

Pictures update

(16 May 2009) - I've added a bit of HTML code to make the pictures pages a bit prettier. Shortcoming is that while you can see the thumbnails, you have to be on the internal network to see the full size pics.

Comments update

(1 Mar 2009) - I've come up with a working kluge for the comments. A simple Wordpress plugin allows WP to redirect the user back to the page from where they submitted the comment. It's not exactly clean, but it works. Again, it'll take a bit to add this feature to all of the wiki pages so please be tolerant of bugs, typos, and mis-redirections.
