Add an AfterStep Button to Kill Out of Control Netscape Browser Windows
(15 Sep 2004) - Netscape ever lock up on you? Or generate dozens of error dialogs. Or did you ever visit one of those sites that opens dozens of new windows on your desktop and shows no sign of stopping?
Add the following to your Wharf config to have a "rapid kill" button that will kill all instances of Netscape:
*Wharf NKill iconname.xpm Exec "-" killall netscape-communicator &
Because Wharf's default property is "always-on-top", this becomes a very handy button to have if you surf a lot.
